Eskimo Loop - Curvy & Compact Electric Towel Rail

Engineered and handmade in Birmingham UK, Loop is a station of incurvation to keep your towels neat, whilst efficiently using heat.

The ideal combination of art & science

With over 20 years of experience in the heating industry, our team of designers & engineers have perfected the art of blending form with function.

Eskimo Loop offers an aesthetically pleasing presence while drying your towels up to 3 times faster than the regular rails.

The Loop is an electric towel rail that embraces the way that most of us already hang or dry our towels.

  • Designed, engineered and made in the UK for perfection.

  • Aluminium construction for rapid heat-up time.

  • Unique curved design.

  • Dries towels four times more quickly than a horizontal towel rail used in a conventional way so that, combined with a timer, it uses around a quarter of the power.

  • Space saving – half the width of a standard towel rail – great for small bathrooms

  • Technically innovative flash-drying technology

  • Simple construction – not liquid-filled like a normal towel rail- no leaks, no corrosion.

  • Lifetime no corrosion warranty.

  • Holds up to 4 towels.

  • Non-slip powder-coated textured finish.

  • The US/Canada 110v variant is available.

Tired of damp towels?

Horizontal hanging towel rails don’t work.

A bold statement and one we should maybe qualify – they don’t work as intended.

Effective drying is a function of heat and airflow – you want to maximise a constant flow of fresh, dry air over and through the fabric. That’s why tumble dryers work so well – they tumble the contents for precisely the purpose of removing the humid air and exchanging it with new, dry, warm air.

Next, there’s the physics. Using only natural convection the speed with which a towel will dry is a function of temperature, airflow and humidity.

The Loop is now available in a 110v variant for US & Canada customers.

Simply place an order with a USA or Canadian address and you will receive The Loop with 110v compliant internals and installation instructions

Why choose the Loop?

  • Temperature

Safety First: Our product ensures safety and comfort.

Safety Standards: British and European Standards allow up to 95ºC, which we consider unsafe.

The Loop follows a Low Surface Temperature standard (43ºC without a towel) to keep you safe.

With a towel, we allow a slightly higher limit (56ºC), still below typical radiator temperatures.

  • Airflow

Eskimo's two decades of experience in high-performance radiator design helped us perfect the form that promotes convection currents that will provide a constant flow of warm dry air over the towel

  • Humidity

The ladder rail design fails due to poor airflow, trapping damp air, and slowing drying. In contrast, The Loop's vertical fins ensure continuous humid air replacement. The Loop dries two large towels in 2 hours, while a larger ladder rail takes over 11 hours, using over 5 times more energy, totaling 657 kW annually, a costly choice at current energy prices.

Switching to The Loop towel warmer could save you up to £150 per year and save the planet 360kg* of CO2 pumped into our warming atmosphere per towel dried.

The Loop uses only 200w and yet dries towels in under 1/3rd of the time of a 500w ladder rail twice the size.

Promoting a healthier lifestyle

Damp towels create a warm, moist environment that promotes the growth of bacteria and fungi, posing potential health risks. As the Loop is up to 4 times faster than the traditional rails, its functionality significantly reduces the time towels remain damp, directly limiting bacterial growth and enhancing hygiene.

Bacteria and fungus can multiply when towels are left damp for a period of time, which can become the culprit of skin "infections, acne flares, and irritation. This can be avoided by keeping your towels fresh and dry.

The Loop is the best electric towel rail you will ever own, and here is why-

  • The loop is built with 100% aluminium construction. Aluminium's superior thermal conductivity, with a thermal conductivity value of approximately 237 W/m·K, makes it the optimal choice for a towel rail. This property allows it to efficiently and uniformly distribute heat, enabling rapid and energy-efficient towel drying.

  • Get a 10 years warranty of the Loop towel rail and 2 year warranty on its heating element.

  • The Loop dries a large bath towel in 86 minutes, using only 0.29 kW/h, while a standard 500W ladder rail takes 271 minutes and consumes 2.26 kW/h – about 8 times more energy.

  • As per the independent tests - The Loop takes 86 minutes to dry a towel and consumes only 0.29 kWh, a relatively short drying time and minimal energy usage.

In contrast, a standard 500W ladder rail takes significantly longer at 271 minutes to dry the same towel and consumes 2.26 kWh of energy, almost 8 times the energy required by The Loop.

  • Yes, The Loop ordered with US and Canadian addresses would be shipped with 110v compatible internals.
